Student Seminar on Food and Water Safety
Date: 7th May 2018
Venue: Postgraduate Seminar room, FMHS.


On 7th May 2018, a student seminar on food and water safety was held in the Postgraduate Seminar room, FMHS, for MBBS year 2 students (session 2017/18) who have completed their paraclinical posting with Professor Dr Ngeow Yun Fong.

This seminar was primarily aimed to enhance managerial skills, communication skills, and leadership skills in practice while in the research environment. The educational programme consisted of a presentation and discussion with the experts. This was a great opportunity for networking and building professional contacts.

International Congress of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (ICPaLM) 2018

Venue: Connexion Conference and Event Centre at Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur

A few members attended ICPaLM 2018 at Connexion Conference and Event Centre at Bangsar South from 28th June 2018 to 30th June 2018.

The following are the posters presented by our members during the iCPaLM 2018:

  • The distribution of Candida albicans genotypes in pathogenic and carrier strains

    13th Sabah Public Health Colloquium 2018

    CRCD member Ms Dawn Paul Camel received a prize for her oral presentation on TB genotypes in Sabah, at the 13th Sabah Public Health Colloquium 2018, recently held on 14-16 Oct, at Institut Pendidikan Guru Keningau, Keningau, Sabah.
