Publication Report

With the increasing awareness and hard work demonstrated by UTAR academics, the university is confident of further growth in terms of the number of publications accepted in Scopus indexed journals and conference proceedings in the years to come.

The cumulative number of publications accepted in Scopus indexed journals and conference proceedings increased from 3,188 in 2017 to 3,793 in 2018. Figure 1 below indicates the progress shown by UTAR researchers at UTAR from year 2002 until 2018.

The citations for articles (indexed in Scopus) were 8,847 in 2018 compared to 7,722 in 2017. The cumulative citations was 24,769 in 2017 and rose to 33,616 in 2018 as shown in Figure 2 below.
