Speaker : Dr Lai Yew Meng is an Associate Professor of Politics International Relations at the Centre for Promotion of Knowledge and Language Learning, Universiti Malaysia Sabah. He holds a PhD in Politics from the University of Warwick, UK.

Held in conjunction with the visitation of six scholars from the prominent academic institute in China—Institute of World History (IWH) of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), an International Symposium on the Transition of China, East Asia and the Neighbouring World was conducted on 7 December 2018 at KB105, UTAR Sungai Long Campus, 9am to 6pm.
