  Centre of Business and Management (CBM) had organized a research workshop conducted by Dr Chong Yee Lee (IPSR Deputy Director and Assistant Professor FBF). Follows are details of the workshop: Title : A good thesis/dissertation: What examiners want? Date : 11/07/15 (Saturday) Duration :10am to 1pm Venue : H203 29 participants had joined the workshop. Most of them are currently pursuing postgraduate studies. All of unanimously agreed that the workshop was indeed beneficial for them and the speaker’s knowledge, presentation style and handout given were appreciated. Followings are the suggestion received from the participants: 1) Duration of the workshop should be extended from 3 hours to 1 day 2) Engage the participants by enabling them to present his/ her ongoing research works during the workshop |

  The International Conference on Business, Accounting, Finance and Economics 2015 (BAFE 2015) was jointly organised by Faculty of Business and Finance, Centre for Business and Management (CBM), Centre for Accountancy, Banking and Finance (CABF) and Centre for Economic Studies (CES). Follows are details of the conference: Theme : Sustainable Development in the Globalized Environment - Opportunities & Threats Date : 9/10/15 (Friday) Duration : 9am-5pm Venue : Block H, Perak Campus The event was successfully held. It included 87 manuscripts in its proceeding received and more than 100 participants (both presenters and participants) had joined this event. They are from UTAR, local and foreign universities. |
