SEM AMOS Workshop Level 1
14th May 2016, Perak Campus

Centre of Business and Management (CBM) and Faculty of Business and Finance (FBF) had jointly organized a research workshop on SEM analysis via AMOS platform. Follows are the details of the workshop:

 Title: Structural Equation Modeling AMOS Level 1

Date: 14/05/2016 (Saturday)

Time: 9.00am - 2.00pm

Speaker : Mr Mumtaz Ali Memon (Universiti Teknologi Petronas)

 The trainer had covered the following areas during this workshop:

 - Data cleaning

 - Normality checking

- Confirmatory Factor Analysis

- Structural Equation Modeling using AMOS

 In addition, the trainer shared his experiences and knowledge on the various aspects of quantitative researches and academic write-up during the question and answer session. Questions raised by some participants were real helpful in enlightening the knowledge of others on the vague issues related to this statistical technique.

Some participants had furnished their qualitative comments as the follows:

-        Extend the time frame

-        Suggest having more similar workshops frequently

-        CConduct the workshop during weekdays

 An on overall, it was indeed a successful event and CBM is planning to hold similar workshops in the future given the support of Faculty and IPSR.
