Description of Centre:Centre of Power Systems and Electricity, better known as CPSE envision to be an international leading research centre in power engineering. To achieve this, we aim to develop innovative solutions for cheap, effective and reliable supply of electricity under various clean technologies. We will nurture highly competent researchers and engineers in power systems through the collaboration with international research communities; and we will bring economic and social improvements to the country with cutting-edge technologies in power systems in collaboration with industrial partners.
Research area: Power System Analysis; Power Protection System; Integration of Renewable Energy Sources; Electrical Machines and Drives; Energy Storage Systems; Smart Grid; Climate Change; Cities, Urban and Suburban Energy Use; Nuclear Energy; High Voltage Engineering; Electrification for Railway System.

18th International Conference on Smart Grid and Clean Energy Technologies (Inaugural Virtual Conference ICSGCE2020) 9th – 11th October, Malaysia

ICSGCE is an annual conference which aims at bringing together participants from academia, industry, engineering, and administrative organizations around the world to exchange novel ideas, discuss innovative designs, explore enabling technologies and open problems, and share field trial experiences in smart grid and clean energy areas. ICSGCE has been an active platform which provides participants to establish business or research relationships and to find the partners for future collaboration.

The 8th, 2020 International Conference on Smart Grid and Clean Energy Technologies (ICSGCE 2021) with its Special Session on EET (Energy Efficient Technology) was successfully held virtually using Zoom as a platform in Malaysia (UTC+8) from 9th – 11th October 2020 despite during this pandemic session.
