In the talk, various aspects of transition between research and biomedical product development were disclosed.

Besides that, interactive exchanges between students and Dr. Khor was evident in the session.
2Live Webinar: “Challenges to Biomedical Engineers during COVID-19″

Among the issues highlighted by the speaker were medical equipment management during Covid-19 - how to tackle shortage issues and possible reuse of the supplies, the importance of infection control and prevention practices. A the saying goes there are two sides of the same coin, the pandemic has opened the horizon for biomedical engineers to explore new ideas and design such as low-cost emergency ventilators, isolation room design, HVAC system design, reprocessing and decontamination of PPE with plasma technology, and etc. In the second part of the webinar, the speaker shared his ideas of Top 10 health technology hazards for 2020 - potential patient safety issues and how biomedical engineers can play a role to address them.
3Live Webinar: “Materialise Acts: Our Response to COVID-19″
