Research area: 

CITC focuses on the creative content research via Practice led Research and Action based research.

CITC also exploring into the possibilities of assimilation between these element for the direction of research:

Humanities, Technology, Creativity, Nature

Highlights of activities 

SYMPOSIUM AND EXHIBITION OF CITC

In the creative hand and enthusiastic of The Centre of Immersive Technology and Creativity (CITC),a symposium and exhibition entitled “Practice-Led Symposium and Exhibition” was successfully held on 6-20 December 2013 at Gallery Room, Faculty of Creative Industries (FCI), PJ Campus. The symposium and exhibition was officially launched by FCI Dean, Dr Chin Yee Mun. It was attended by Zachary Ong, President of wREGA (Wakaf Reka Grafik Malaysia or Graphic Design Association of Malaysia), former CITC chairperson, Professor Ray Langenbach, and lecturers.

The first of its kind, the practice-led research exposed the borderless space of research and practical world of art and design, new media, and interactive multimedia to bridge the industry and academia in arts, design, advertising, film and television have promised the possibility integration of new exploration research area by the social sciences discipline.
 
The one-day symposium that was held on 6 December 2013 presented 12 papers of published works in academic journals and books, current research progress, and postgraduate studies of master and PhD candidates of CITC members. The information sharing sessions and proposed ideas for improvement, limited each presenter with the common duration of 15 minutes presentation. The presenters are:
