Application for UTARSF-STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

The UTARSF-Strategic Partnership is introduced to assist researcher(s) to explore joint or contract research project with industry partner. Industry partner can be SME/SMI companies, NGOs and etc

OBJECTIVE:
1. To provide seed funding to initiate joint or contract research project with industry partner(s)

2. To explore ideas and innovations generated in the university through collaboration with industry partner(s)

CONDITIONS/ TERMS OF APPLICATION:
a) The maximum duration of the research project is 6 months.

b) The UTARSF - Strategic Partnership is expected to serve as a seed fund and a bridge for investment from the industry partner(s). Industry partner(s) agree to fully fund the idea/innovation project upon successful proof of concept that is supported by initial results.

c) Fund Allocation: maximum fund of RM40,000.00 per project for the whole duration.



APPLICATION PROCEDURES
a) Application for UTARSF- Strategic Partnership is open to all academic staff throughout the year.
b) Applicant must provide the following documents for application:
i. A soft copy of the completed UTARSF- Strategic Partnership Application Form; and
ii. Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) /Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)/Letter of Agreement (LoA) with the industry partner committing to the project.
